Heavily influenced by his father, Thad Nakao, who is also a tattoo artist.
In 2004, Lloyd flew back to Hawaii for an apprenticeship, after a year of studying the art of tattoo,
Firstly starting out at Mana Ink Tattoo, Kapa’a, Kauai with his father along with Mike Kobo and Moon Lake.
Followed by Human Rights Tattoo, Lihue, Kauai with his father yet again and Samual Shaw and few other artists.
Lloyd flew back home to Sydney to start tattooing.
2006, Lloyd started tattooing at Manly Tattoo (Manly, Sydney, Australia) and has been there ever since.
